Community Connect (“we,” “us,” or “our") is operated by Paul Mansfield as an individual / sole-proprietor SaaS business. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Community Connect, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information you provide and what is needed to run the Service:

• Account information: your email address and authentication details, managed through Supabase Auth.
• Property information: the property names, addresses, contact emails, notes, and any other details you enter for the communities you manage.
• Newsletter content: the free-text notes you provide and the AI-generated newsletters created from them.
• Usage and billing data: subscription status, plan tier, and payment information handled by Stripe.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health data.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• Generate newsletter drafts based on your notes;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Communicate with you about your account, trial, or billing;
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase — for database hosting and authentication.
• Stripe — for payment processing. We never store your full card number ourselves.
• AI text-generation API — to turn your notes into newsletter drafts. Your notes are sent to this provider for processing and are not used to train their models.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel and request deletion, we will delete your data within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain it for legal, billing, or security purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can update most account and property information directly in the app. To request deletion or ask about your data, contact us at the email below.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, secure authentication, and access controls) to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use after the changes means you accept the updated Policy.
